Who is Chicago ArchAngels?

Chicago ArchAngels comprises entrepreneurs, fund managers, investors, and business executives who invest in startups and lend expertise through contacts or business experience as needed. The group meets monthly to hear companies pitch for funding. These companies operate in a wide array of industries after proof of concept and customer validation. Typically, presenters seek to raise between $1–3 million.

What is this one-day Workshop?

The Chicago ArchAngels is holding a seminar to help entrepreneurs navigate the maze of raising the appropriate capital for their startup. Just getting a company off the ground or expanding requires the right kind of financing. In order to attract smart investors who can also act as “sounding boards,” entrepreneurs cannot afford to waste time using poorly prepared pitches with unclear business and financing objectives.

Who are the Coaches?

  • Paul Jones and Paul Jenny of the Venture Best group within Michael Best & Friedrich
  • Charles McDonald – experienced investor, investment management executive, and entrepreneur
  • Justin Alden – consultant, investor at Wianno Capital
