Charles McDonald

Charles M. McDonald is President of Airtight Compliance, Inc. He is an investment professional with a broad background. At Mercer, Mr. McDonald served as the architect and portfolio manager of Mercer’s model hedge fund portfolio. Mr. McDonald also has direct hedge fund experience from starting and co-managing a long/short equity hedge fund – Railsplitter Capital Management. His prior experience includes working as an equity research partner for William Blair & Co. from 1985 through 2001, and merger and acquisition analysis and investor relations for a Fortune 50 company. Chuck holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Cornell University, S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management. He graduated from the Ohio State University, with Honors and Distinction, Phi Beta Kappa. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He has been a guest lecturer for various organizations including Institutional Investor, National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI), Northwestern University’s Executive Development program, University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, Lake Forest Graduate School of Business, and Carthage College.
