Todd Dibenedetto

Todd is currently an EVP at Hilco Global focusing primarily on leading Distressed Commercial / Industrial transactions and principal investments of all sizes across many different industries.

Prior to joining HCI, Todd was a co-founder and worked at Big Shoulders Capital and Big Shoulders’ sister company, PPL Group, for over a decade.  During his tenure, he transacted note purchases, led major asset monetizations, and served in an executive leadership position. Having spent over 20 years prior to that in the manufacturing, global sourcing, and corporate finance arena, Todd has held several manufacturing positions with experience in many different industries including automotive, industrial, and consumer products.

Todd attended the University of Iowa and Lewis University for undergraduate business and aviation management studies, and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for graduate finance studies.  He is active in the Secured Finance Network (SFNET), the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), and the International Factoring Association (IFA).

Todd is an active Commercial Pilot with 30+ years of experience. As well as wearing the pilot captain’s hat, Todd is a devoted participant in the music and entertainment business.  He regularly supports the industry through investing and developing artists and independent films. Beyond that, he donates his additional time and energy to numerous different charitable causes such as St. Jude Hospital in Memphis and Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville.
